SOFIA, Bulgaria: Mourning rites to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Abi Al-Ahrar Al-Imam Abu Abdellah Al-Hussain (AS) were held in Bulgaria, France and Denmark with solemnity throughout the first Ashra (10 days) of Muharram.
 
Speakers in their addresses paid homage to the eternal sacrifices of Al-Imam Al-Hussain bin Ali (AS), who was brought up in the lap of prophet-hood, rendered in defending Islam and protecting human dignity.

These programs - consisting of majalis, latomiyat, matam and dinner - were held at mosques, husseiniyat and imambargahs under the auspices of different orgnanizations in Bulgarian cities of Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna and Bourgas, French cities of Paris, Lyon, Marseille and Lille, and Danish cities of Copenhagen and Odens.
 
Sham-e-Ghariban majalies were also held.
 
In Sofia, Al-Imam Ali Mosque and Cultural centre for Iranian embassy organized such programs during which Ziarah Al-Ashoura was recited, addresses were delivered and dirges were recited to highlight Karbala tragedy.

In Denmark, Hussaini commemoration during first ten days of Muharram was observed at Hussainiyah Khidmah Al-Imam Al-Hussain (AS). Sheikh Haydar Al-Kazemi and Sheikh Taleb Atharwani addressed 10-night majalis while Mulla Nomas and Mulla Ghayath Al-Mo’men recited dirges followed by dinner from the table of Al-Imam Al-Hussain (AS). Large number of people attended.
 
Infant Abdullah Association, named after the youngest martyr of Karbala six-month-old little son of Al-Imam Al-Hussain (AS), organized majalis al-Hussaini in Danish capital city of Copenhagen in memory of Karbala martyrs whose sacrifices saved Islam and Shariah, and high human values. Sheikh Qaseem An-Naqqash and Sheikh Said Al-Ahmedi addressed daily majalis. Mulla Ghayath Al-Mo’men recited elegies.
