Husseini mourning observation in Venezuela

CARACAS, Venezuela: Mourning programs
commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (A) and his 72 near and
dear ones in the burning plain of Karbala were held in Venezuela, a
South American country.
Followers and devotees of Imam Hussein (A), some newly converted
believers, as well as from other countries who reside here, attended
the majales held at Al-Hady (A) Mosque in the capital city of Caracas.
Speakers highlighted the Tragedy of Karbala, sufferings of Ahlol-Beit
(A) and philosophy of standing of Imam Hussein (A). The mourners
pounded their chests and heads in grief over the sufferings of
Ahlol-Beit (A) while reciting dirges and marathi.
Similar Ashura rites were also held in Valencia and Barquisimeto
cities in which mourners renewed their oaths of allegiance to Thar
Allah.
