ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Terrorism is the great oppression which is the second name of Yazidiyyat and tyranny and we would have to adopt Hussainiyyat to root it out.

Central Secretary Information Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi stated this wile addressing the ‘Fikr-e-Hussain’ Seminar at Bab-ul Ilm Academy Auditorium organised under the auspices of Majlis Farogh-e-Hussainiyyat here on Wednesday.

He said when Yazid openly started denying ‘Wahi’ and ‘Ilham’ from the Mimber (pulpit) in Damascus, made fun out of Tauheed and Risalat and began trampling the pious relationships through debauchery, Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.), son of Ali (A.S.) and Batool (A.S.) who was brought up in the lap of Risalat, presented exemplary sacrifice to stop him as a result of which flag of Islam is fluttering high all over the world today rather highest values of humanity are intact courtesy Hussain (A.S.).

He said the whole humanity is afraid of massacre of innocent people, desecration of holy places and Sha’a’ir-Ullah while addicts of terrorism were teasing the oppressed and Muslim nations by labelling them as terrorists. Palestinians and Kashmiris were already on their target and later they shattered Afghanistan in the garb of New York incident. Then, he said, they rooted out Iraq and the allied forces posted there were still writing a new story of oppression every day.

He said honour and dignity of the holy places is being trampled while innocent Iraqi citizens are being massacred. Not only this, the international terrorist is continuously hurling threats on Syria, Iran and other Muslim States, he added. The responsibility of this lamentable situation lay on the United Nations and the so-called international organisations of human rights that were keeping a criminal silence.

Syed Qamar Zaidi said representative organisation of the Islamic World OIC is in a deep slumber and has not yet resolved any issue faced by the Islamic World. If the Muslim Ummah did not take up any joint strategy from a combined platform then their woes would increase further.

Standing firmly against oppressive codes and uncalled-for brutality in congestion of the worst dictatorship is the essence of Fikr-e-Hussain which could be used to turn the society into a hub of peace by rooting out terrorism at international level.
