HOLY CITY OF KARBALA, Iraq: Marking the Anniversary of Birth of Al-Imam Abo Muhammad Al-Hasan bin Ali Al-Askari (A) on Rabi`ol Akher 10, the eleventh infallible descendant of Seal of Prophets Prophet Muhammad bin Abdullah (S), special festive programs were witnessed across Iraq under the auspices of different organizations and offices of Ayaat.

In the holy city of Karbala – home to the holy shrines of Al-Imam Al-Hussein (A) and his brother Abu`l Fazl Al-Abbas (A) -, a grand spiritual celebration was held near the two holy mausoleums attended by swarms of devotees. Happiness was seen on the faces of participants.

Renowned eulogist and elegy chanter of Arab world Alhaj Al-Molla Bassem Al-Karbalayi attended the celebration scenting it with couplets and eulogies in praise of Al-Imam Al-Askari (A) to mark the auspicious occasion.

Al-Imam Al-Askari (A) was born in the year 232 A.H. in the holy city of Medina. As-Samet, Al-Hadi, Ar-Rafique, Az-Zaki and An-Naqi are some of his famous titles.
