Turku celebration on Imam Askari (p) b-day: Islam abhors terrorism

TURKU, Finland: Birth Anniversary of Al-Imam Hasan bin
Ali Al-Askari (p) was fervently and enthusiastically
celebrated in different cities of Finland.
Different organizations arranged festive programs in
connection with the auspicious occasion extending hearty
greetings to the twelfth Imam Al-Hojja bin Al-Hasan Al-Mehdi
(p) on the birth anniversary of his respected father (p).
Speakers highlighted pious life of holy Prophet Muhammad (p)’s
eleventh infallible descendant Al-Imam Al-Askari (p).
Sweetmeats were distributed and banquets were thrown.
In the city of Turku, a grand celebration was held at
Al-Imam Al-Baqer (p) Center under arrangements of Ansar
Shaheed Al-Mehrab on Sunday Rabi`os Sanee 7, 4th Islamic
month.
Abu-Karar Al-Ibadi opened the gathering with recitation of
holy Quran followed by a speech by Sayyed Abbas Al-Moosawi.
Later Hasan Abu-Ghanim in his address on the occasion
threw light on current political situation in Iraq making
clear that terrorists and terrorism have no link with
Islam – religion of love and peace. Afterward sweets were
distributed.
