AL-AWAMIAH, Saudi Arabia: Fourth anniversary of
founding of Al-Qaem (A) Hauzah Ilmiah in Al-Awamiah, Al-Qateef,
was observed in the second week of this May.

The Hauzah was founded with support and guidance of Sheikh
Namr Baqer An-Namr who is one of the renowned religious
scholars in Al-Awamiah.
Marking the event, Sheikh Abdullah Dhayf opened a ceremony
with recitation of holy Quran followed by Mousa Al-Gamal
who delivered a speech on behalf of the Hauzah students.
He highlighted importance of knowledge in light of Quran
and sayings of holy Prophet (S) and Ahl`ol Beit (A)
describing it ‘great power’. He said knowledge without
piety will not give benefit rather its demerits would be
greater than merits in such a case.
Batool Al-Awami addressing through microphone on behalf of
the Hauzah female students said human being was created so
that his humanness get perfection in this life and Hauzaat
are houses of light which make him a human being to take
responsibility of guiding. She said knowledge is soul of
religion and essence of Shariah.

On behalf of the Hauzah professors, Sheikh Ja’far Hussein
Ar-Ribh spoke to the gathering and threw light on
significance of knowledge through which human being
achieves loftiness.
Addressing on the occasion, the founder of the Hauzah
Sheikh An-Namr said without a path and a divine leadership
there could be no stability and peace as well as success
in this world and the hereafter. He said holy Prophet (S)
had very clearly told about the path and divine leadership
when he said: ‘I am leaving two valuable things among you:
Book of Allah and my progeny. If you hold these firmly,
you will never go astray.’
Sayyed Khidr Al-Awami said Hauzaat are houses of divine
light which never extinguishes, and in these houses
sincere leaderships are prepared.
Sa’id Al-Mazra’a and Majed Al-Farg recited eulogies.
Later, dinner was served.
The religious scholars who attended the ceremony included
Sheikh Muhammad Hasan Al-Habib, Sheikh Abdul Ghani Al-Abbas,
Sheikh Ali Al-Mousa, Sheikh Hasan Salih, Sheikh Abbas Al-Sa’id
and Sheikh Karam Salih.
