ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Dozens of Azadaran (Hussaini mourners) kissed martyrdom and more than 100 were injured in a bomb blast carried out in the venue of Central Majlis-e-Aza on the occasion of annual Azadari at the shrine of Hazrat Bari Imam Kazmi Al-Mashadi Noorpur Shahan in Islamabad.

The Majlis-e-Aza oganised by Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya District Council Islamabad began early in the morning, which was to be addressed by Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Pakistan, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi.

The senior elite of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya had just reached the venue of Majlis-e-Aza after laying floral wreath at the Bari Imam’s shrine and as the name of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Hamid Mooavi was spoken from the stage a powerful blast took place as a result of which 18 Azadaran kissed martyrdom on the spot. Thousands of devotees from across the country were present at the Majlis-e-Aza when the bomb went off.

The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi while addressing the Azadaran and mourners on the spot after the blast strongly condemned the incident and announced a five-day mourning for the martyrs of the Bari Imam incident. He said, actually he was the target of terrorists. He said all those who kissed martyrdom were pieces of his heart. Blast and terrorism could not divert us from the path of Hussainiyyat and the mission of ‘Wila’ and ‘Aza’.

He said he had been saying since the day one on every forum that a terrorist keeps no religion, maslak or maktab, he is only a terrorist and an open enemy of the humanity. He reiterated his resolve to continue confronting terrorism laced with Mazloomiyyat (oppressed-ness) and would keep on running the Azadari of Syed-ush-Shuhada Imam Hussain (A.S.) come what may because we are the inheritors of Shujaat-e-Haideri (Haider valour), Istiqamat-e-Hussaini (Hussaini firmness) and Sabr-e-Zain-ul-Abideen (patience of Zain-ul-Abideen).

Agha Moosavi demanded from the government to arrest the terrorists immediately and give them exemplary punishment. He said loss of the martyrs must be compensated and special facilities must be provided to the injured. He asked the government to ensure implementation of Anti-Terrorism Act. For this purpose, he added, it was necessary to take notice of the activities of those banned groups that were visible in the government, opposition and political alliances with new names and they are invited on every fora including the media, these elements are the root of terrorism which needs to be uprooted.

He said Muslim Ummah is the Millat-e-Wahida while Kufr is also Millat-e-Wahida and today human blood is being wasted through continued terrorism at the hands of colonial, Zionist, Christian powers and Yazidiyyat. He said one incident after the other about desecration of holy places, Karbala-e-Mualla, Najaf-e-Ashraf, Kazmain Sharifain, Baghdad Sharif, Quran, Nehjul Balagha, and Saheefa-e-Sajjadia are an open challenge to the honour of the Millat-e-Islamia.

The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi laid the floral wreath at the shrine of Bari Shah Latif and the Azadari process continued with the Imani spirit. Later Agha Hamid Moosavi visited the injured of the incident in hospitals one by one and prayed for their early recovery.
