Sayyedah Zainab (p) visitors 'tortured and shot'

AL-QAIM, Iraq: Iraqi police said the mutilated corpses of 10
innocent Iraqi Muslim pilgrims have been found in the desert near the
town of Al-Qaim, close to the Syrian border.
According to police the murdered pilgrims had apparently been
blindfolded, tied up and shot in the head.
The dead bodies bore marks of torture.
The pilgrims are thought to be from southern Iraq and were martyred as
they traveled back from Syria.
Iraqi officials said they believed the 10 people were stopped as they
were on their way back from visiting the holy shrine of Sayyedah
Zainab (peace be upon her), daughter of Imam Ali (peace be upon him)
and grand daughter of holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his
pure progeny), in Syria several days ago.
They were attacked in the area where the US military carried out a
major operation against terrorists earlier this month.
