MANAMA, Bahrain: Bahrain’s Ar-Resalah Al-Islamiah Association, in a
meeting on 28 May Saturday, expressed deep concern over silence of
Grand Muslim Scholars and Clerics on slaughter of innocent Mo’mineen
(believers) at mosques, husseiniyaat and shrines in Pakistan and Iraq
including continuing bloodshed on Iraqi soil and the latest attack on
a mausoleum of Bari Imam in Islamabad.
The association said the perpetrators carry out massacre of innocent
believers going against holy Quran and sayings of holy Prophet (p)
that preach love, peace and harmony and consider killing of an
innocent human being tantamount to killing whole humanity.
The meeting said silence of grand scholars and clerics encourages
terrorists.
It demanded from grand clerics of Al-Azhar (Egypt), Saudi Arabia,
Iraq, Pakistan and Gulf to adopt very clear stance towards killings of
innocent believers because scholars and clerics are under obligation
to protect lives of innocent and preserve unity among Muslims
considering it topmost priority.
