Rafsanjani’s presidential agenda: Annulment of Wilayah Al-Faqih
By: Nabil Raza
LONDON, United Kingdom: A London-based Saudi newspaper
reported in its Tuesday May 3 editions that Iran's former
president Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani who is preparing to run
again in June has a comprehensive reformation plan.
 |
Quoting an Iranian source close to Rafsanjani, Asharq
Alawsat said that the plan contains giving priority
internally to annulment of Wilayah Al-Faqih and externally
restoration of relations with the United States.
According to the Arabic-language Asharq Alawsat the source
confirmed to the daily that Rafsanjani desires the coming
generations remember him that he is the one who ended the
chapter in the book of religious oppression and despotism
by amending the constitution, omitting Wilayah Al-Faqih,
and including all national, liberal, leftist and moderate
powers in the process of founding new State.
The daily reported that Rafsanjani began love-making with
national and opposition liberal powers that call for
change of rule through peaceful means, whereas his desire
in opening new page of cooperation with these powers and
formation of allied government in case he wins is
apparent. This is to confront threats of change from
outside and internal revolution through some generals of
Revolutionary Guards and leaders in secret agencies and
Al-Hawzah Al-Ilmiah in the holy city of Qom.

"Knowledge is
better than wealth because it protects you while you have to
guard wealth. it decreases if you keep on spending it but the
more you make use of knowledge ,the more it increases . what you
get through wealth disappears as soon as wealth disappears but
what you achieve through knowledge will remain even after you."MORE
