RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya has said that Negehban-e-Risalat and Nabuwwat (Protector of Apostleship and Prophet-hood) Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.) fulfilled the right of honour of humanity and protection of Paigham-e-Tauheed (message of monotheism) courtesy which flag of Islam is fluttering high with full magnificence all over the world today.

He stated this in a special message issued on the occasion of Youm-ul-Huzn that is being observed throughout the country like other global parts with religious spirit, devotion and respect on Friday marking the Anniversary of Demise of Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.).

He said the Islamic history stands witness that responsibility of the upbringing of Khatmi Martabat Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (A.S.) was taken by his respected grandfather Hazrat Abdul Muttalib (A.S.) and when was going to expire, he handed over this responsibility only to his son Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.) saying,

which is an enlightened proof that Hazrat Abdul Muttalib (A.S.) was Mowahhid (one who believes in one God) and Momin (believer). When Hazrat Abdul Muttalib (A.S.) was aware of the status enjoyed by Hazrat Muhammad (A.S.) then it would have to be accepted that from amongst his offspring, he was definitely aware of the honour and dignity of Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.) and he had recognised him that only a person of highest status could be entrusted with the upbringing of the one with such status.

Agha Moosavi said researching ulema consider that the respected grandfather and grandmother of the Holy Prophet (SAW) were the followers of Tauheed and believers and as a Momin (believer) keeps an eye on future, then how could he who is the grandfather of the Khatmi Martabat (SAW) and the Syed-o-Sardar of the Arab World, Mowahhid (one who believes in one God) and Momin would be unaware of future. He must be aware of future that is why he rested the responsibility of Holy Prophet’s (SAW) upbringing to Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.) and when the Holy Prophet (SAW) solemnized Nikah with Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.), 15 years before the announcement of Prophet-hood, it was Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.) who ritualised that Nikah.

Hamid Moosavi said Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.) kept complete Ma’arfat of Muhammad’s (SAW) personality and he proved through his character and deeds that how much love and devotion he had for Khatmi Martabat (SAW), he bore the brunt of Sheb-e-Abi Talib which no one can deny.

There was war of belief between the infidels of Makkah and Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.), infidels desired to kill Muhammad (SAW) while Abu Talib (A.S.) wanted to save him which is crystal clear from the fact that religion of Abu Talib (A.S.) was the same as the religion of Muhammad (A.S.). That is why, he said, Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.) had said that Oh, Prophet! You have invited me towards Islam, I believe you are truthful and trustworthy in extending invitation for Islam and I know that the religion of Muhammad (SAW) is the best religion of all religions, by God these infidels could not cause any harm to you (Muhammad) even if they all join hands till Abu Talib (A.S.) is alive (Tareekh Abul Fida).

The TNFJ Chief said the example of Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.) is like Momin Aal-e-Firon. Therefore, there is a Quranic verse that a Momin from amongst Aal-e-Firon said who used to conceal his faith. Here concealing faith was meant to protect Musa (A.S.) because faith is linked with heart. Similarly, non-disclosure of Abu Talib’s (A.S.) faith was actually protecting and defending Muhammad (A.S.). That is why, he said world of infidels could not cause any harm to Muhammad (SAW) till Abu Talib (A.S.) remained alive.

He said at the time of Abu Talib’s (A.S.) departure, the Holy Prophet (SAW) came to him and moved his hand on his forehead four times and then addressing Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.) said, O Uncle! You brought me up and cared for me in my childhood and supported me in my youth. May Allah award you good reward from my side.

Moosavi said Paighambar-e-Islam (SAW) has accepted his blessings while Allah has declared the protection of Abu Talib (A.S.) as His protection. That is why, he said throughout the universe there are only two personalities whose year of death was declared Aam-ul-Huzn (Year of Grief) by the Holy Prophet (SAW) which is a obvious proof on the belief of Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.) rather clears that Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.) is one of them which declares that how much love and devotion Paighambar-e-Islam (SAW) kept for Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.).

He said this love and devotion was not based on relationship only rather because of his true love and devotion with religion, Shariat and the Paighambar-e-Islam and the Aam-ul-Huzn is a proof that observing grief is Sunnat-e-Nabi.

The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya, Syed Hamid Moosavi made it clear that objective of observing Youm-ul-Huzn is to highlight the blessings of Abu Talib (A.S.) on the world of humanity which have been forgotten. He said at present the whole Islamic World in general, and Pakistan in particular, are the targets of international colonial powers. Oppressed nations, Kashmiri and Palestinian Muslims are struggling for freedom of Kashmir and independence of Palestine and Al-Quds Ash-Sharif while after Afghanistan, aggression of allied forces against Iraq is continuing where cities after cities and villages after villages have been turned into remnants. Even the holy places including Najaf-e-Ashraf, Kufa, Karbala-e-Mualla, Hillah, Baghdad Sharif, Kazmain, Balad, Samra, where holy graves of Mashaheer-e-Islam and Mashaheer-e-Bashariyyat exist, were not spared rather honour and dignity of these places were trampled.

Agha Moosavi said despite holding elections in Iraq, heinous game of terrorism is going on there, massacre of innocent human beings is continuing, blood streams are running high. Not only this, now open threats are being hurled on Iran, Damascus, Egypt, and Saudia, and kidnapping of labours, pilgrims and diplomats has become the order of the day.

He lamented that Muslims are alone despite being 1.25 billion in number and confronted with one problem or the other, and are facing economic sanctions. If they desire to get rid of this situation then they would have to follow the Seerat-e-Abu Talib, do not get upset on economic sanctions and tell the world that like our Rasool (SAW) could not be diverted despite besieged in Sheb-e-Abi Talib, similarly Taghooti chief i.e. America, Zionists and Hindus could not divert the Muslim Ummah from the right path.

Presenting condolences to the Khatmi Martabat (SAW) on his uncle Hazrat Abu Talib’s (A.S.) death, he reiterated his resolve that no harm would be allowed to be caused to religion and Shariat.
