Holy Najaf Hawzah ‘Mother of all Hawzaat the world over’

By: Ismail Zabeeh

HOLY NAJAF, Iraq: Al-Marjaiyah Ad-Diniyah advises for national unity and restraint to root out anti-Islam, -Iraq conspiracies, and those who fan sectarianism are working against the pious teachings of the holy Prophet (p) that prohibit shedding blood of innocent and creating violence, for all these acts contradict true spirit of Islam which preaches peace, love and harmony.

This was remarked by Sheikh Ali An-Najafi, son of one of the four Grand Marajay of Holy Najaf, Ayatullah Hafez Sheikh Bashir Hussein An-Najafi. He is also a spokesman for the Ayatullah.

Sheikh Ali An-Najafi said Al-Hawzah Al-Ilmiyah in the holy city of Najaf is Center of Shiia World and ‘Mother of all Hawzaat the world over’ and will remain the same, for it bears the soul of civilization and history of Islam courtesy to Imam Ali (p), cousin of holy Prophet (P).

He hoped that the authorities will give the Holy City full care for its historic, religious, cultural and financial significance.

He said the most important task before the newly elected government of Iraq is writing a constitution and restoring peace. People of Iraq are also under obligation to support the government.

He said Al-Marjaiyah Ad-Dinyah urges that rights of all be protected under the constitution because Islam does not tolerate to encroach upon anyone’s rights, either they make up majority or minority.
