Moosavi on 8 Shawal message urges UN, world orgs role in rebuilding Baqi, Moalla

By: TNFJ Information Wing

The objective of human life is worship of Rahim and Rahman (the most Merciful, the most Compassionate)

And the worship is only and only for Allah,

Worship except Him is a sin and polytheism that is termed as a great oppression

And honour, dignity and respect is for Khasan-e-Illahi (divine chosen persons) and Sha’a’ir-Ullah (signs of Allah) besides Allah that is not polytheism rather a part of piety.

and Sha'a'ir is plural for She'ar which gives two meanings: apparel, therefore it is said:

She'ar of friends of Allah is Quran

As a human being does not apart their apparel from himself similarly friends of Allah remain sticked to Quran. The second meaning is sign or mark. As it has been said:

Saying Labbaik Allahumma labbaik innal hamda wan nemata laka shokr is sign of mehram.

Therefore

gives us this meaning that he who reveres signs of religion, it is a proof that his heart is house of piety and piusness.

In several traditions, Sha'a;ir-e-dini (religious signs) have been mentioned to this extent that pillars of Islam have been introduced. Therefore, in 'Wasael-ush-Shia' which is axis of istambaat , Zarara bin A'yun narrates from Imam Muhammad Baqir (A.S.) that he said:

Islam is based on five things: prayer, zakat, haj, fasting and walayat

Tarihi (late) says in Majma-ul Bahrain that word 'walayat' with 'fatah' is commensurate with love for Ahl-e-Bait (A.S.). blessings are showered with in love for Ahl-e-Bait-e-Atahar (A.S.), Aulia Allah and pious Sahaba Kibar (R.A.), and human being achieves acme of piety. And to consolidate relationship with Khasan-e-Illahi (divine chosen persons) it is necessary to live and die in their love. This love is the one that has been promised by Allah with Ahl-e-Iman (those who believe).

love is related with the heart of the human being, therefore, to express it praying through their means, seeking their intercession, getting their mausoleums constructed and decorated, performing visit to them, and loving them by heart is a clear-cut proof of their love and devotion. In other words, giving respect and honour to Sha’a’ir Allah and holy personalities who preached them to worship Allah is the source of reward and deliverance.

And the high status of these holy personalities does not reduce with their death. It is reported:

Hazrat Abbas came to Ameer-ul Momineen (A.S.) and said that people want to bury holy Prophet (SAW) in Baqee Al-Musalla, and one of these people desire to lead. Hazrat Ameer-ul Momineen (A.S.) went to the people and said holy Prophet (SAW) is Imam (leader) in his life and after his death, and i will bury him there where he departed this world. Then he stood up, offered prayer and ordered the people who offered prayer in groups of ten, ten individuals.

Therefore, status of prophets and righteous persons remains intact before God after their death rather till the D-Day, that is why respect of them is a must even after their death and constructing their graves, signs, decorating and protecting the same and expressing love and devotion to them is a sign of love, devotion and recognizing haq (right), and not bid’at and polytheism. Similarly making their Zarih and building is not worship. In holy Quran, commandment has been given to offer prayer at the foot-sign of Prophet Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S.):

اتخذوا من مقام إبراهيم مصلى (سورة بقرة)

That is why offering prayer at Ibrahim’s foot-sign is not worship rather the objective is respect and honour to Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S.). that Ibrahim (A.S.) who was declared Syed-ul-Muwahideen (chief of those who believe in one God), then why considering the graves and signs of that personality who is Syed-ul-Mursaleen (chief of Messengers) and their Ahle Bait Atahaar (A.S.) respectable, offering prayer there, and seeking dua could be polytheism? That is why the Paighambar-e-Islam (SAW) used to visit historic graveyard of Jannatul Baqee that had been destructed by Aal-e-Saud in 1344 Hijra

And he (SAW) used to offer dua for those who are buried there. Therefore it has been reported that

It proves that visit to Baqee and offering dua for those buried therein is the Sunnat (practice)-e-Mustafa (SAW).

Therefore, whether it is House of Allah or prophet’s mosque, Jannatual Baqee or Jannatul Mualla, Al-Aqsa mosque or other holy places, Najaf-e-Ashraf or Karbala-e-Mualla, we respect all these places according to the practices of Muhammad (SAW) and Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.). While offering Ziarat of these graves and signs, reality of monotheism, cleanness of Islam, prophethood of Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) are acknowledged and true devotion and love with his Ahle Bait Atahaar (A.S.) and pious Sahaba Kibar (R.A.) is expressed, that is why Allah-o-Akbar is recited most at the time of Ziarat (visitation) that makes the human soul divert its attention towards the greatness of Allah and it gives a feeling that nothing is big than Allah.

Ziarat of holy graves of these personalities is in fact nothing except worship, respect and praise of Allah. The only objective is that word of Allah remains supreme and the signs and Sha’a’ir-Ullah are kept alive, His law should be respected and commandments of Allah are followed in letter and spirit.

When a pilgrim achieves honour of performing Ziarat, he offers at least two-rakaat prayer. Then the dua which he recites tells him that this prayer this good deed is for Allah only, he does not worship other than Allah. This Ziarat is for achieving divine nearness. He recites:

Oh, Allah! I have offered prayer, Ruko (bending in prayer) and Sajood (prostration) only for You and You are only One and no one is Your partner that is why prayer, Ruko and Sajood is for You and no one else because You are Allah and there is no one to be worshipped but You. Oh, Allah! Accept my Ziarat and send Darood on Muhammad (SAW) and Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.) and fulfil my Hajaat (needs) in the name of Muhammad (SAW) and Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.).

The basis of our religion is

There is no God but Allah

And the religion owes to the Holy Prophet (SAW). Our religion respects the rights of all human beings, protects the rights of the White, Black, Arab, non-Arab, slave and the master. There is no coercion therein

But it is extremely painful that Aal-e-Saud wrote that history of oppression and barbarism on 8th Shawaal, 1344 Hijra that is unforgettable. A period of 80 years has passed that the Jannatul Baqee and Jannatul Mualla are lying destructed but the whole world and the United Nations are keeping a silence. None of the 99 Muslim member States of the United Nations ever raised a voice on this tragedy as a result of which they are facing humiliation, colonial powers are carrying out aggression against the oppressed nations and the Islamic World. Issues of Kashmir and Palestine were already unresolved that the life has also been made difficult for the people of Iraq after Afghanistan, there are echoes of Syria to be the next target while threats are being hurled on Iran. Even Pakistan that is the result of dream of Allama Iqbal and fruit of struggle of Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah is confronted with earthly and otherwise disasters. One does not know whose turn is the next, and what problems we have to face.

Most important reason of all these problems and difficulties is tat we not only have contradicted the principles of those holy personalities whose love was made obligatory under

Rather destructed their graves and signs.

“Green tomb is grieved over this tragedy;
The grave of Rasool’s (SAW) daughter is in dilapidated condition”
(Agha Shorish Kashmiri late)

If the world of humanity, particularly the oppressed nations and the Islamic World desire to avoid zilzal and zawal (earthquakes and decline) then they should play their role for achieving the rights of the have-nots and the oppressed and get the honour and dignity of Jannatul Baqee and Jannatul Mualla restored otherwise they should ready be to face more disasters and catastrophes because

He who does even a very little good will see it, and he who does a very little evil will definitely see it.

We on 8 Shawwal-ul Mukarram 1426 Hijri (11 November, 2005) Friday marking the heart-rending tragedy of Al-Baqee (which is observed by the only representative organization of Maktab-e-Tasdhayyo Pakistan with due respect and veneration in the motherland also as “Youm-e-Inhidam-e-Jannatul Baqee”), reiterate our resolve to continue our struggle with sincerity of purpose for the dignity and solidarity of the motherland, supremacy of religion and Shariah, reconstruction and decoration of signs and graves of Muhammad (SAW) and Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.), Jannatul Baqee and Jannatul Mualla.

Therefore, we strongly demand from the government of Pakistan to exert pressure on diplomatic level on the Saudi government, with whom we have brotherly religious ties and we want to further strengthen these relations, to reconstruct the historic signs of Jannatul Baqee and Jannatul Mualla because it is included in the May 21, 1985 Junejo-Moosavi agreement.

We appeal the United Nation, UNESCO (responsible for protecting the historic archaeological monuments), ICC, European Union, OIC, Arab League, and SAARC to give attention towards resolving this important international, human, constitutional and religious issue. as in it lay the correction, welfare, success, and good luck of the whole humanity.
