Iran SL consoles Pakistanis on quake disaster as toll tops 55,000

TEHRAN, Iran: Like other leaders the world over,
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatullah Ali Khamenei has consoled Pakistani
nation and government over the deadly earthquake in the country in
which more than 50,000 people have been died while hundreds of
thousands went homeless.
In a message on Monday, he said: “The government and nation of Iran
share the woes of their Pakistani brethren and know it their task to
bid any help which may lower their miseries.”
He offered prayer to God for the victims of the quake and their
bereaved families.
