Hezbollah stresses significance of securing national unity

BEIRUT, Lebanon: Secretary-General of Lebanese
Hezbollah movement Hassan Nasrollah has stressed the importance of
securing national unity and urged “we have to be strong and vigilant.”
Addressing a gathering in southern Lebanon, Nasrollah said they in
Lebanon are not separated from the recent developments in the Middle
East region.
He cautioned people over such developments and said, “We should not
permit blazes of sedition and chaos burst into flames.”
He reiterated that certain persons desire to transfer the past
conflicts and hostilities as well as current Iraqi discords to
Lebanon.
He warned political and tribal differences should not turn
contentious.
The Hezbollah chief said Lebanese should not consider Palestinian
refugees and Syria as ‘enemy.’
