HOLY CITY OF KAZEMIYAH, Iraq: Ayaat including Grand Ayatullah Sayyed Abu- Al-Qassem Al-Kaukabi, Grand Ayatullah Mufti-ush-Shiia, Grand Ayatullah Sayyed Ali As-Sistani, leaders including head of Iraq’s SCIRI Sayyed Abdulaziz Al-Hakim, head of Pakistan’s Shias and chief of TNFJ Sayyed Hamid Moosavi, Iraqi President Ibrahim Al-Jaafari, European Union and Lucknow’s clerics and many other have expressed deep grief over the deadly Kazemiyah incident.

Despite the deadly incident that occurred in Kazemiyah (Baghdad) on the occasion of martyrdom anniversary of Al-Imam Mousa bin Jafar Al-Kazim (p) on Rajab 25, Wednesday, in which at least 1,000 mourning pilgrims have been reportedly martyred and nearly 400 injured, the commemorative ceremonies were ended peacefully at the holy shrine of Al-Imam Mousa Al-Kazim (p), holy prophet (p)’s seventh infallible descendant.

According to reports, over two million mourning devotees had gathered at the holy shrine to commemorate the occasion.
