TNFJ chief grieved on Kazimiya incident, declares 3-day mourning

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan – September 01: Chief of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi while expressing his heartfelt grief and pain on the martyrdom of hundreds of pilgrims Azadaran as a result of mortar attacks on mourning procession and Baghdad bridge incident on the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Imam Moosa Kazim (A.S.) in Iraq’s city of Baghdad (Kazimiya) on Wednesday has announced to observe “Three-day Mourning”.

In a statement issued here, he said the whole ummah is under obligation to come out of the shell of makatib, prove by displaying unity that we will foil heinous conspiracy of dividing brothers unitedly, no power of the world could create any crack among admitted schools of thought, and that we can sacrifice everything but wouldn’t let anyone to generate rift because interests of oppressed nations and Islamic world are dearer to us than everything.

The TNFJ chief said that in line with a saying of Maula-e-Kaenat Hazrat Ali bin Abi Talib (A.S.) our motto is hatred against oppressor and support for the oppressed, therefore, raising voice for the oppressed is not only wajib rather aujab.

He appealed to all makatib to organize Quran Khawani and Majalis-e-Tarahim for elevation of ranks of the martyrs during mourning for Baghdad (Kazimiya) bridge incident, and raise voice of protest against colonial oppression and desecration of holy sites.

Meanwhile, TNFJ’s Central Mourning Days Committee has been formed to lay programs. Dr.S.Zaman has been nominated its convener while Zulfiqar Raja would be its secretary.
