Tarhim Day on Sept 23 for height of all martyrs’ status: Moosavi

By: Salman Alvi

RAWALPINDI, September 22: Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan has announced observation of “Tarheem Day” throughout the country on Friday, September 23 for raising the status of all martyrs and Momineen and Muslims who died including Ijaz Hussain Jafri and Ayyaz Ali Bangash (Quetta), Maulana Wazir Ali Khattian (Larkana), martyrs of Bari Imam incident and Gulshan Karachi incident, martyrs of Kashmir and Palestine, martyrs of Baghdad (Kazemiya) Tragedy, Sheikh iz ud deen al jazaeri, Sheikh Hikmat Al Mosili, and renowned Iraqi scholar Shaikh Attar.

In a statement issued here on Thursday, he said the Holy Prophet (SAW) has given the commandment to state the qualities and deeds of those who die. Hazrat Ibne Omer (R.A.) said that the Holy Prophet (SAW) had said that keep on stating the good qualities of your dead. Similarly, Hazrat Ma’az said that the Holy Prophet (SAW) had said that talking about Prophets is worship, talking about pious persons is Kaffarah and talking about death is Sadqa which proves that remembering dead and observing their death has been considered a good deed in Shariat; then what could be the status of those deaths and martyrs who gave a new height to Tauheed, Risalat and Wilayat by sacrificing their life.

The best way to pay homage to them is that we observe their days and commit from the core of our heart that we would not let any damage to be caused to those high targets for which they sacrificed their life.

He appealed all Ahle Islam to organise Quran Khwani and Majalis-e-Taraheem for raising the status of martyrs and departed souls on the Tarheem Day on Friday and express solidarity with the oppressed world and raise the voice of protest against the colonial powers.

Meanwhile, Central Youm-e-Tarheem Committee of the TNFJ has been formed to organise the Tarheem Day programmes. M.D. Haideri has been nominated as Convener and Naseer Hussain Sabzwari as its Secretary.
