RAWALPINDI, Pakistan - September 26: Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, chief of the Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Pakistan has asked the government to arrest the culprits of worst incident of terrorism in Bari Imam forthwith, unveil them and give them exemplary punishment so as to restore her lost credibility otherwise all responsibility would lay on powers that be.

This was stated by him while delivering his Presidential address at a high level meeting of the Tehreek here on Monday. Central office-bearers and provincial delegates attended the meeting.

He said we have grown up in incidents, therefore, we cannot be threatened or stopped from our mission by blasts, terrorism, and cowardice tactics like murder and arson. We take Ghusl-e-Shahadat (bath for martyrdom) daily and we never bow down before anyone but Allah and Masoomin (infallibles). He said we would never retreat from our mission even if lakhs (hundreds of thousands) of incidents take place.

Agha Moosavi said like Azadari is our jugular vein, similarly martyrdom is our inheritance and every man of honour protects his heritage. He reiterated his commitment not to let any one cause any harm to our pious mission of ‘Wila’ and ‘Aza’. He made it clear that Sunnis and Shias are brethren and no power on earth could cause any differences or separate them from each other because we are one, our God, Prophet, Quran and Ka’aba is one and the whole nation is against those who preach hatred.

He called upon the government to fulfil the norms of justice and fair-play in all incidents including the Bari Imam incident and give exemplary punishment to the culprits. Bari Imam incident was an open act of terrorism and today everyone is repeating our point of view regarding terrorists that a terrorist keeps no religion, faith or a country, and it is the job of the government to find out the culprits and give them exemplary punishment.

He said the government was doing nothing to curb terrorism rather the opposition is also mixing her voice with the government the proof of which is that groups that have been declared terrorists could be seen in the government as well as the opposition fora alike as a result of which problems of the people were increasing manifold. He said like other Makatib, the Maktab-e-Tashayyo is also deprived of their basic rights. He reiterated his resolve not to let motherland, achieved in the name of Islam, become a sectarian State.

The TNFJ chief said Palestine and Kashmir top the list of international issues pending solution and Palestine issue is the issue of the whole humanity. Recognizing Israel before achieving Al-Quds Al-Sharif and independence of Palestine is commensurate with causing harm to the cause of Palestine because Israel is ‘Izraeel’ not only for Arabs but also for the whole Islamic World. He said those Muslim leaders who opposed Israel were murdered one by one.

The powers that be in Pakistan should take everyone into confidence on foreign affairs and it is necessary to avoid any accusation, we are not afraid of anyone because we are an atomic power. He said the personality that provided atomic power to Pakistan had blessed the whole Islamic World as a result of which Israel being afraid of Pakistan is crying hoarse of improving relations with her. He said neither peace could be restored in Palestine or Kashmir nor relations could be improved unless their problems are resolved in line with the United Nations Resolutions keeping to the desire of their respective people.

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Hamid Moosavi terming the United Nations Agency IAEA resolution against Iran’s atomic programme a slap in the face of the OIC said every State has the right to protect herself but because the strings of Muslim rulers are in the hands of Super Powers therefore they are unable to display courage. He asked that why such type of resolution was not adopted against Israel?

He said the Iranian government should ponder over that why she has given priority to India over Pakistan and why they improved friendly relations with her because there is difference in the governments of Pakistan and Iran. There is people’s government here while in Iran, ulema are ruling the country and a huge responsibility lay on them. He said the Iranian officials should ponder themselves what to do. As far as the people are concerned, he said it is crystal clear that hearts of people of Pakistan and Iran beat together. He said the Iranian government should consider who supported them in difficult moments. He lamented that the Iranian government had diverted from the line given by Khomeini and their dual standards are lamentable.

He said we support the oppressed and express hatred against the oppressors. Dividing the Muslim States is the old weapon of the evil forces, therefore, Muslims should come out of their shackle. Even the enemies wept on Baghdad incident but Arab League neither expressed condolences nor condemned this incident.

Agha Moosavi made it clear in unequivocal terms that there is no sectarianism or Maktabi conflict in any part of the world including Iraq and it is binding on leaders of all Makatib and the rulers to come out from deep slumber otherwise it could be their turn tomorrow. He said the religious Madaris (schools) are the citadels of Islam that disseminate the message of peace rather religious powers should prove themselves peace-loving from their deeds so that the accusations against them are reversed.

He said Pakistan was created under the Islamic ideology and it is the abode of Islam, Pakistan would have to be saved so as to save Islam. If we would give importance to Pakistan it would increase the importance of ideology and for this purpose, rights of all schools of thought including the Maktab-e-Tashayyo should be given on the basis of equality. He said the people are not concerned whether there is Presidential or Parliamentary system in the country, they only desire solution to their problems.
