Kadhimiyah martyrs honored in Sweden, Australia, Netherlands

MOTALA, Sweden: Mourning ceremonies to commemorate the martyrs of
Al-Aimmah Bridge, Al-Kadhimiyah Tragedy, were held in Sweden,
Australia and Netherlands like other countries.
In Swedish city of Motala, a commemorative program was organized at
husseinyah Al-Imam Ar-Redha (p) attended by large number of Iraqis.
The program began with recitation of holy Quran followed by a poetic
tribute to the martyrs by poet abu Muhammad Al-Basri. Ameer Ali As-Saedi
addressed on the topic of status of a martyr in light of Quran and
Sunnah. Surah Fatihah was recited for the departed souls, and meal was
served.
In Malmo city of Sweden, Al-Imam Al-Montadhar (p) Foundation arranged
a mourning ceremony for the bridge tragedy martyrs. Complete
solidarity was expressed with the bereaved families.
In Stockholm, Iraqi Women Association issued a condolence statement
saying they fully share pain of their fellow Iraqi brothers and
sisters. It demanded from the government of Iraq to take special
protective measures on religious occasions as the Baghdad Bridge
Tragedy occurred on the martyrdom anniversary of Al-Imam Mousa bin
Jafar Al-Kadhim (p) when more than four million mourners had gathered
at the shrine to commemorate the event.
In Netherlands city of The Hague, a ceremonial gathering was held by
Iraqi embassy. Large number of people attended.
Shabab Al-Abbas (p) Organization arranged a three-day majalis-e-aza
for the martyrs at fourteen infallibles mosque in The Hague. Sheikh
Rashd Al-Ansary addressed expressing full solidarity of Netherlands’
Iraqis for their bereaved brothers.
In Melbourne, Australia, Iraqi community organized a commemorative
gathering that began with Quran recitation by Sayyed Muhammad Baqer.
Later, Ahmed Radhi addressed while poets Abu Hussein Al-Majedi and Abu
Ali Al-Arihi paid homage to the martyrs. Husseini speaker SAyyed
Abdur-Razzaq Al-Moosawi addressed. Meal was served for conduction of
reward to the martyrs. Prayers were offered for early recovery of the
injured.
