RAWALPINDI, April 19: The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi while strongly condemning the heinous murder of renowned preacher and religious scholar of Faisalabad Allama Fazil Hussain Alvi along with his driver has termed it an open act of terrorism.

In a statement issued here he said it is the heinous plan of those powers that desire to maintain their supremacy the world over, particularly on the Islamic World after the Russian breakage. For this purpose, he added, they were utilising all their energy on fanning biases within the Muslim States so as to get them recognised by promoting anarchy and differences there. They first played this game in Afghanistan and now they were doing so in Iraq, he added.

Moosavi said whether it is Nishtar Park incident or Tank and Hangu incidents and before that Bari Imam incident, all these blasts, suicide attacks and terrorism is part of that heinous conspiracy and this work may go further because the combined enemy desires to divert attention from real issues by following that plan so as to restore Zionist and Hindu supremacy in both these regions.

He said that in this critical juncture, we all are under the obligation not to get infuriated and exercise wisdom so as to promote unity, brotherhood and mutual understanding amongst all schools of thought thwarting the heinous planners to pitch one Maktab against the other and to cause harm to the Islamic World.

The TNFJ chief called upon President Musharraf to identify those who sabotaged the Anti-Terrorism Act, first and then get this law implemented in letter and spirit. He strongly demanded immediate arrest of culprits of all incidents including that of Allama Fazil Hussain Alvi Shaheed, unveil them, and give them exemplary punishment.

He also demanded to deal these culprits with an iron hand and compensate the bereaved families of the martyrs and the affected of these incidents. If this was not done then the people would be justified to consider that the intelligence agencies were behind all these incidents.

The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Hamid Moosavi advising the people to remain peaceful made it clear that all anti-Islam forces should keep in mind that we could be murdered and cut down into pieces but would not allow anyone to create rift in Sunni-Shia brotherhood. He said we all are brothers and would thwart the heinous designs of enemies of Islam and Pakistan through practical display of brotherhood.
