GARH MAHARAJA, Pakistan: The Youm Shaheed Alvi was observed throughout the country on the call of Majlis Ulmae Shia Pakistan on Friday. A peaceful protest rally was organized by the Majlis led by Allama Haider-al-Qumi.

While addressing to the participants, Allama haider said the President Musharraf govt is a thorn in the eye of culprits and terrorists, so the need of the hour is to make President’s hands strong to tighten noose against these elements. Allama Haider said that the anti-terrorism Act of President is not showing its fruit because the banned groups with new names are sitting in the seats beside them.

So the only way to get full fruit of this act is one should act more strongly against such anti-peace elements. He strongly condemned the Terrorists who killed Allama Alvi Shaheed along with his driver ,and also condemned the act of terrorism in Bari Imam , Hangu , Nishter Park ,Tank and demanded from the government to implement anti terrorism law in full. He also demanded to bring all these culprits in front of the media to put a balm on the hearts of all the people who lost their loved ones or got injured in these incidents.

He appreciated the Maktabe Tashayo who followed the peaceful policy of their Markaz “Tehreek Nifaze Fiqae Jafria” and neither harm to anybody in their peaceful rallies nor they followed any Jalao Ghero. Pakistan is home of all Muslims, and no one can divide this country on the basis of maktab as it’s a fruit of struggle of all makatib who are living together like brothers since centuries.

Later the rally dispersed peacefully.

As per the Secretary General of the Majlis Ulmae Shia Pakistan Allama Abbas Kazim, Quran Khwani, Majalis ,and condolence gatherings and peaceful rallies were arranged through out the country on “Youme Shaheed Alvi”.

A big protest rally was taken out by a large number of Ulema Karam in Multan.

Allama Haider Shirazi addressed a protest gathering in Masjid Shah Najaf Lahore, Allama Akbar Ali in Masjid Raza Karachi, Allama Mehdi in Imam Bargah Wali ul Asr Quetta , Molana Ali Kiyani in Imam Bargah Puthar Wali Peshawar, Molana Asad Abbas Qumi in Masjide Jafria D.G.Khan and Molana Hussain Shah in Imam bargah Darbar Jamal Shah D.I.Khan. They demanded from the government to bring the culprits to justice. They prayed for the high ranks of the departed souls.

Earlier, Soyem of Shaheed Alvi was held in his native village Garh Maharaja on Friday attended by thousands of people from across the country. Representative delegation of Qaid-e-Millat-e-Jafria Agha Hamid Moosavi made special participation. At the end of the ceremony, TNFJ leader Allama Agha Ali Hussain Najfi prayed.
