Ehad-o-Paiman Week continues with commitment of no bargain on belief

By: Salman Alvi

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Hafta-e-Ehad-o-Paiman Majalis and Matmi processions continued all over the country on the call of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan.

Addressing Majalis organised by different religious and Matmi organisations and religious institutions, ulema, waizeen and zakireen highlighted the seerat of Imam Askari (A.S.) in detail and in conformity with the last week of the Ayyam-e-Aza reiterated their resolve to continue their struggle to promote, protect and defend those high targets for which Syed-ush-Shuhada Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.) and his sincere near and dear ones had kissed martyrdom.

Hojjatul Islam Syed Hussain Muqaddasi addressing the second Majlis of Hafta-e-Ehad-o-Paiman organised at Masjid and Imambargah Ahle Bait Wah Cantt. under the auspices of Anjuman Ghulaman-e-Haider-e-Karrar said Azadari is a universal protest of the oppressed and have-nots against oppression and brutality in every era that will continue till the supremacy of truthfulness and peace for the oppressed.

He said the survival of the universe lay in Zikr-e-Hussain. The objective of observing the Hafta-e-Ehad-o-Paiman from 2nd to 8th Rabiul Awwal is to renew the commitment that no bargaining would be done on our belief viz. Wilayat and Azadari. He said Hussainiyyat would have to be adopted to root out terrorism because Imam Aali Muqaam (A.S.) defeated the Yazidi oppression by becoming a concrete wall before evil.

Allama Zaidi addressing a Majlis-e-Aza organised at Masjid Al-Hujjat G-11 Islamabad under the auspices of Syed Sajjad Mahdi Rizvi said that spiritual processions of Azadari and Milad-un-Nabi are the practical display of Islam’s fanfare through which we can fulfil the objective of our creation by imbibing ourselves with Mohabbat-e-Hussain (A.S.) and Ishq-e-Mustafa (SAWW). He said offspring of Abu Taliab (A.S.) watered Shajr-e-Islam by giving their blood in Karbala.

Addressing a Majlis-e-Aza organised at Markazi Masjid and Imambargah Qasr-e-Khadijatul Kubra Tarlai Kalan Islamabad, Allama Basharat Hussain Imami said that Nawasa-e-Rasool (A.S.) lost his family in the plain of Karbala to introduce high human values with honour viz. protection of Tauheed, Risalat and Wilayat. The signs of Islam in every nook and corner of the world today are the fruit of invaluable sacrifices and exemplary struggle of Hussaini subservients.

He said the Samarra tragedy is the black chapter of Islamic history in which the mausoleums of Imam Ali Naqi (A.S.) and Imam Hassan Askari (A.S.) were destructed in bomb blasts. The Muslim Ummah should lay a courageous strategy for the protection of holy places after summoning the OIC, otherwise, the international colonial powers could turn towards Makkah and Madinah. He said the Muslim rulers will have to give a serious thought to strengthen and consolidate Muslim Ummah instead of prolonging their rule otherwise everyone would have to wait for his turn, one by one.

A resolution adopted on the occasion strongly condemned continued oppression and brutality on the Iraqi soil, threats being hurled on Iran and Syria and expressed solidarity with the ongoing movements of the oppressed for independence all over the world including Kashmir and Palestine.
