RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has announced to observe martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Imam Moosa Kazim (A.S.) on 25 Rajab-ul Murajjab as "Universal Youm-e-Babul Murad".

In a statement issued today, Moosavi said Hazrat Moosa ibne Jafar (A.S.) boldly confronted the tyrant rulers of his era but neither bent down nor was sold because martyrdom and sacrifice of blood in the way of Allah is the loftiest target and objective of the men of Allah. That's why forefathers and progeny of this great personality always waited for martyrdom. He spent all his life in imprisonment and being chained but never complained.

Terming prison as worship place, he thanked in the court of Allah in these words: O Lord you have given me such a place for worship wherein i prostrate before you with peace and satisfaction.

Agha Moosavi said this world is Dar-ul Ibtalaa (House of Trial) while Hereafter has been called Dar-ul Baqaa. Whatever we sow here, will reap in the hereafter. Therefore being a Muslim or Believer is not sufficient rather there is trial for it also. Some verses of holy Quran stand witness on it, crux of which is: have people thought that they will be left on saying that they believe and they will not be tried? While We have tried people before them. no doubt Allah desires to know who are truthful and who are liars. He who hopes to meet Allah, he must know that Divine promise will definitely fulfill. He is Hearing and Knowing. Those who believe and do good, We will surely erase their evils and will reward them better than their deed. there are those among people who say we believe in Allah, and when they face suffering in way of Allah they incite people, if help comes from your Lord, they say We are with you, Does Allah not know what is in the hearts of people? No doubt Allah knows them who believe and those who are hypocrites.

The TNFJ chief said Islam is that great religion which gives importance to the doers. Invitation to good deed has been given in Quran at about 126 places. Inviting to good deed and practical struggle for it is jihad. On this basis, jihad is height of good deed. In this sense, Din-o-Shariah is name of good deeds, jihad in way of Allah, taking great responsibilities to strengthen Islam, and defense of holy things and high values. Islam came to coordinate contacts of human being to his self, his Lord, and people who spend life with him.

Allah sent for guidance of humanity Prophets and Messengers last of whom is Khatem-ul Mursaleen (SAW) giving him award of Rehmatul Lil Aalameen from His Sift-e-Awaleen - Rehmat (mercy). That is why mercy is Great Spirit of targets of Mustafawi Shariah. Moosavi said 63-year life period of holy Prophet (SAW) stands witness that he was merciful because he was representative of that Zaat-e-Ilahi who is Most Merciful. He said seventh successor of the same merciful Prophet is Hazrat Imam Moosa bin Jafar (A.S.) whose holy life is full of defense for oppressed and have-nots.

Agha Moosavi appealed to all countrymen to pledge to continue supporting world of oppressed and hatred for world of oppression and barbarism by observing the martyrdom anniversary of Asser-e-Baghdad Hazrat Imam Moosa Kazim (A.S.) on 25 Rajab as "Universal Youm-e-Bab-ul Murad" with reverence.

Meanwhile, TNFJ committee has been formed to organize programs of "Universal Youm-e-Bab-ul Murad". Maalik Ashtar hasbeen nominated as convener and Dr. S.Z.Naqvi as secretary of the committee.
