BERLIN, Germany: To mark the departure of Caravan of Holy
Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SW)’s grandson Chief of Martyrs
Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) from the holy city of Medina (Saudi
Arabia) to the holy city of Karbala (Iraq), Majalis-e-aza and
processions were held in various countries on the eve and day
of Rajab 28.
Millions of mourners in Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Syria,
Pakistan, India, Bahrain, the US, Britain, France, Belgium,
Germany, Egypt, Turkey, Kuwait, Qatar, Jordan, Azerbaijan, UAE,
Tanzania and other countries extended their deep condolences
to the holy Prophet (SW) performing azadari rituals – mourning
sittings, processions, shedding tears, chest beating and
reciting elegies - at holy shrines, mosques, hussainiyaat,
Imambargahs and Aza Khanas.
Addressing these gatherings, speakers and scholars said:
“Yazid was crushing the dignity of humanity through his black
deeds and giving his evil activities the name of Islam and
Shariah, and the grandson of holy Prophet (SW) unveiled the
Yazidi conspiracies by getting his head chopped off during
prostration and by giving the sacrifice of his offspring and
companions kept the flag of Toheed (Monotheism) fluttering
high forever.”
History tells that Imam Hussain (AS) visited the holy graves
of his grandfather the Prophet (SW), his mother Hazrat Fatimah
Zahra (AS) and his brother Imam Hassan (AS) to say them
goodbye with tear-flowing-eyes and -heart before leaving
Medina - city of his grandfather (SW) - on Rajab 28 along with
his sons, brothers, sons of brothers and his chaste womenfolk.
Imam (AS) departed Medina, his native city, reciting that
verse of Holy Qur’an, which relates the story of Prophet Moses
(AS) as he fled from Pharaoh’s Egypt: “Then he left it out of
fear while he kept on the lookout. He said my Lord save me
from the unjust people.” - (XXVIII, 21)
Son of Ali (AS) and Batul (AS), Imam Hussain (AS), came out to
defend the religion of his grandfather (SW).
He stated his objectives in these words: “My ‘Qayam’ is not
for rebellion, war, oppression or brutality but I have come
out to correct the things, order piousness and follow the
seerat of my grandfather prophet (SW) and father Ali (AS)”.

"Knowledge is
better than wealth because it protects you while you have to
guard wealth. it decreases if you keep on spending it but the
more you make use of knowledge ,the more it increases . what you
get through wealth disappears as soon as wealth disappears but
what you achieve through knowledge will remain even after you."MORE
