RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: According to the announcement of the Quaid-e-Millat-e-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, the Youm-e-Safar-e-Shahadat (Day of Travel to Martyrdom) in connection with the departure of Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S) from Medina Munawara was observed with due fervour and religious spirit throughout the country including Northern Area and Azad Kashmir.

On this occasion, Majalis-e-Aza and Matamdari programs were held in all the towns and cities including twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad. A Majlis-e-Aza was arranged by TNFJ Youm-e-Safar-e-Shahadat District Committee Rawalpindi in Imambargah Zain-ul-Abideen (A.S).

While addressing the Majlis-e-Aza Allama Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi said that Imam-e-Aali Maqam (A.S) migrated from Medina Munawra for the protection and regard of “Deen-e-Mohammadi (P.B.U.H)” and dignity of Humanity. He said that by denying the “Bait” of Yazid, Imam Hussain (A.S) has given the lesson to the sensible persons and freedom fighters to stand strong against cruelty, brutality, wickedness and oppression. He said in the present we have to follow the Hussaini (A.S) pathway to deject the Yazidi conspiracy.

He said that Imam Hussain (A.S) left Medina Monawara with His Family and friends including innocent children and women which was the proof that his aim was not to occupy the throne or to levy an army. Zakir Afsar Abbas and others also addressed with the Majilis-e-Aza. Matamdari was performed in the end of the Majlis.

In connection with the Youm-e-Safar-e-Shahadat of Imam Aali Muqam (A.S) a Majlis-e-Aza was also held in Imambargha Kashmiryan, Dhoke Ratta. At the end of the Majlis-Aza the famous Noha Khawan “Katri Bawa” recited Nohas and Matamdari was performed.

In “Thalla Saindan” a Majlis-e-Aza was arranged by Syed Ameer Hussain Shah, which was addressed by Allama Naseem Abbas Rizwi, Allama Agha Ali Hussain Najfi, Syed Mushtaq Hussain Shah and others.

Anjaman-e-Ghulaman-e-Abu Talib (A.S) arranged a Majlis-e-Aza in Qasr-e-Abu Talib(A.S) which was addressed by Allama Syed Mohsin Ali Hussaini, Syed Naseer Hussain Sabzwari and Zakir Fidda Hussain Jafri.

In Imambargha Ahl-e-Bait Majlis-e-Aza was addressed by Allama Zulfiqar Haider Naqvi, Allama Hussain Muqadsi and others.

On the occasion a resolution was passed unanimously in which the oppression and brutality in the world was strongly condemned and unity with the oppressed Nations of the world including Kashmir, Palestine, Afghanistan, Iraq and Lebanon was expressed. In the end of the Majlis-e-Aza, Matmees recited Nohas and performed Matamdari, while they specially prayed for the dignity and safety of the country and Islamic world.
