Stop traveling, get in touch with people: Iraq Marje tells officials

HOLY NAJAF, Iraq: Al-Marje` Al-A’ala Ayatullah Sayyed Ali
Al-Husseini As-Sistani has advised his country's politicians
to spend more time at home improving public services and that
they should not travel abroad too often.
"Officials traveling at a time when the Iraqi people urgently
need them is improper," a source in the office of the Marje`
quoted him as saying.
"His Eminence Sistani has insisted that ministers and members
of parliament do not travel abroad and instead get in touch
with the people," the source said.

"Knowledge is
better than wealth because it protects you while you have to
guard wealth. it decreases if you keep on spending it but the
more you make use of knowledge ,the more it increases . what you
get through wealth disappears as soon as wealth disappears but
what you achieve through knowledge will remain even after you."MORE
