Hezbollah chief says he did not want war
By: Karim Tellawi
BEIRUT, Lebanon: Lebanese Hezbollah Chief Hassan Nasrallah
said that he would not have ordered the capture of two Israeli
soldiers had he known that it would trigger such a war.
Speaking in an interview on Lebanese TV, he said: "We did not
think, even one percent that the capture would lead to a war
at this time and of this magnitude. You ask me, if I had known
on July 11 ... that the operation would lead to such a war,
would I do it? I say no, absolutely not."
He added that neither side was "heading towards a second
round" of fighting.
More than 1,000 Lebanese died in the 34-day conflict which
left much of southern Lebanon in ruins.

"Knowledge is
better than wealth because it protects you while you have to
guard wealth. it decreases if you keep on spending it but the
more you make use of knowledge ,the more it increases . what you
get through wealth disappears as soon as wealth disappears but
what you achieve through knowledge will remain even after you."MORE
