HOLY CITY OF QOM, Iran: Thirteenth death anniversary of Faqeeh-i-Ahli Bayt (AS), Director Hoza Elmiah Qom Grand Ayatullah Muhammad Reza Al-Golpaygani was observed with respect.

On this occasion, a commemorative ceremony was held at Masjid-i-Azem in the holy city of Qom. Ayaat including Hossein Nori Hamdani, Maser Makarem Shirazi and Lotfollah Safi Golpaygani, representatives from the houses of Ayaat including Ayatullah Seyed Muhammad Ali Alvi Gargani and Ayatullah Ebrahim Amini, religious scholars, clerics, intellectuals and people from all walks of life attended.

Besides other speakers, Hojjatol-Eslam val Muslimin Seyed Hashim Hosseini Boshehri addressed and spoke on late Grand Ayatullah Al-Golpaygani’s scholarly personality and status.

Grand Ayatullah Muhammad Reza Al-Golpaygani was born on 8 Zol-Qada, 1316, in Golpaygan in the home of Syed Muhammad Baqir Golpaygani after Baqir Golpaygani prayed in the court of Samin-ol Hojaj Imam Ali bin Mussa Ar-Reza (AS).
