RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha
Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has reiterated his resolve not to
let motherland Pakistan become a sectarian State that came
into being in the name of Islam.
He stated this while delivering his Presidential address at
the first session of the two-day high level meeting of Tehreek
Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan in which delegates from all
the four provinces, Azad Kashmir, Northern Areas and foreign
countries participated.
Some important decisions were also made on this occasion
viz. important national and international matters,
particularly law and order situation and arrangements for the
oncoming Muharram which will be announced by
Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi
through a Press conference.

Heads of different central and subordinate department,
provincial Presidents and Nazims presented their reports in
the meeting.
Addressing the meeting, Agha Moosavi said that Pakistan not
came into being in the name of any particular Maktab rather
the Quaid-i-Azam made the creation of a welfare Islamic State
possible by gathering the Muslims of the Sub-continent under
the Parcham-e-Tauheed, therefore, he added, the key to its
survival, stability and development lay in giving the rights
of all schools of thought on the basis of equality.

He said two and half decades ago, when a dictator announced
to make the country a sectarian State, the Tehreek
Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya thwarted that conspiracy by saying
that this country does not belong to any particular Maktab
rather it is the inheritance of us all and thus no one will be
allowed to follow his personal desire and that Sunnis and
Shias are two strong arms of Islam who must be given their
right to lead their life in accordance with their own beliefs.

He said we got the Shia demands accepted through 8-month
long peaceful agitation during the worst martial law as a
result of which May 21, 1985 Junejo-Moosavi agreement came
into being that guarantees rooting out of sectarianism. He
said at present, Maktab-e-Tashayyo is being led only and only
by TNFJ and we have never given up our rights.
He said it is necessary for the education curriculum to be
commensurate with the national ideologies because according to
the Pakistan’s Constitution Islam and not any sect or group is
the official religion of Pakistan.

The TNFJ chief while making his point of view about the
Haqooq-e-Niswan Bill passed from the Parliament and the Hasbah
Bill from the Sarhad Assembly clear said no Bill is required
in the presence of consensus 1973 Constitution.
Commenting on the resignations and movement against the
government with reference to Haqooq-e-Niswan Bill from the
religious parties of the Parliament, he said that the ulema
should give up race for the Kursi (chair) and recite
Ayat-ul-Kursi instead to solve all problems. He said Islam
preaches us the lesson to behave with woman and that no other
religion of the world preaches. Islam not only gives honour to
woman who were sent to grave from the lap rather it also
provided her protection of her rights.

He said the supremacy of the man yes, but rights of man and
woman are equal. He said we support every oppressed and
condemn every oppressor. At present the whole world is under
the grip of terrorism, the life of oppressed Muslims in
Kashmir and Palestine was difficult, then Afghanistan was
destructed in the garb of terrorism and then it was Iraq that
was put topsy-turvy to the extent that blood of the oppressed
Iraqi people is being shed and even the holy places are not
spared.

Agha Moosavi made it clear that there is no sectarian conflict
in Iraq rather all Sunnis and Shias are united. Condemning
those who call the victims of terrorism in Iraq as “Halaak” he
made it clear that the status of those killed in Karbala and
Najaf is not less than those who are killed in Makkah and
Medinah, therefore, the Islamic media should refrain from
pleasing the worldly super powers and should please the real
Super Power i.e. Allah.
He said President Pervez Musharraf have made many good steps
to root out terrorism but the banned extremist groups working
on the basis of foreign aid have become active again and are
being encouraged by the government, opposition and the media.
He strongly demanded from President Musharraf to take notice
of the situation and issue directives for effective
implementation of the Anti-Terrorism Act.
He said neither we have allowed any shift from the
Nazria-e-Asaasi (basic ideology) in the country nor we would
allow so in future also.
The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Hamid Moosavi made it clear that
we have to safeguard the interests of religion and the
motherland and respecting ‘Wila’, ‘Aza’, dignity of Sadaat and
Marja’aiyyat is our habit. Those who kept distance from their
belief had to suffer but we still pray for their long life so
that they can see the difference between the right and the
wrong. Neither our forefathers bargained on ideologies or
rights, nor we are going to do so or accept any law contrary
to our beliefs. He said we are continuing our steady struggle
under the peaceful policy to achieve our goals.
He said we are the followers of those holy personalities who
never bargained and bore all types of problems and
difficulties for holy religion. Azadari is the only source of
forgiveness and we do not boast on any worship but Azadari
which would continue till the D-Day as no power on earth could
stop it.
He directed the delegates to review the Azadari problems by
summoning the TNFJ Provincial, Regional and District Council
meetings and make timely steps to resolve the same.
The bomb had been built to "cause maximum damage," US
Lieutenant Colonel Viet Luong said.
