RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: “Youm-e-Shuhada-e-Hussaini Mohaz” (Day of Martyrs of Hussaini Front) was observed with national spirit throughout the country including Federal Capital Islamabad, Azad Kashmir and Northern Areas on the call of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan to pay homage to Shuhada of Hussaini Mohaz Syed Ashraf Ali Rizvi and Syed Safdar Ali Naqvi who laid down their life during the 1984 agitation in support of Shia demands.

Quran Khwani, Majalis and Matamdari programmes were organised in mosques and Imambargahs in and around Rawalpindi and Islamabad on this occasion while tributes were paid to the Shuhada in the central Friday congregations and Fateha Khwani was offered for them.

In Rawalpindi, TNFJ representative delegation laid floral wreath at the shrine of Shaheed Safdar Ali Naqvi in Shah Dee Tahlian Graveyard and offered Fateha. Additional Secretary General Syed Shujaat Ali Bokhari, in his address on the occasion, paid strong homage to Shuhada-e-Hussaini Mohaz and said death of the Shaheed is the life of the nation and those who kissed Shahadat for Shia demands were the great men of the nation and as a result of their sacrifices, May 21, 1985 Junejo-Moosavi agreement came into being for the protection of rights of the Fiqh-e-Jafariya and our jugular vein i.e. Azadari Mazloom-e-Karbala.

He said initiated from the Hussaini Mohaz was the only agitation for Shia demands launched by the TNFJ that met success during which arrests were courted for eight months without any break as a result of which a dictator had to bow down. He said the key to success of this agitation was that we have made Mazloomiyyat our objective and are continuing with this policy with success. He said the TNFJ enjoys that honour that it did not allow Pakistan to become a sectarian State and would not allow doing so in future also.

TNFJ Islamabad President Allama Basharat Hussain Imami addressing the main gathering of Youm-e-Shuhada-e-Hussaini Mohaz said that our practical struggle for achievement of rights for Maktab-e-Tashayyo and promotion of righteous beliefs will be kept continue and no sacrifice would be spared in achieving these objectives.

A resolution adopted on this occasion strongly demanded from President Gen. Pervez Musharraf to ensure immediate implementation on the Junejo-Moosavi agreement so as to remove the unrest in the ranks of followers of the Fiqh-e-Jafariya. The participants of the gathering resolved to offer any sacrifice for promotion of “Wila” and protection of “Aza” on the call of TNFJ.

Meanwhile, a TNFJ representative delegation laid the floral wreath at the shrine of Shaheed Ashraf Ali Rizvi at Hussainabad, Mailsi in District Vehari and offered Fateha.

Addressing the Youm-e-Shuhada Hussain Mohaz organized by Hay’at Tulaba-e-Islamia at Ali Hall, Maulana Syed Tabassum Abbas Kazmi said that Shuhada Ashraf Ali Rizvi and Safdar Ali Naqvi who laid down their life for the rights of the Maktab-e-Tashayyo and protection of Azadari from Hussaini Mohaz were very lucky persons who kissed Shahadat for the pious and objective struggle.

He reiterated his resolve to continue their struggle for achievement of their holy and pious objectives for which the Shuhada had laid down their life and would not let anybody cause any harm to the mission of “Wila” and “Aza”. He also resolved that the blood of the Shuhada would not be let go waste come what may.
