Black Day observed in India marking Babri mosque razing

NEW DELHI, India: Indian Muslims on Wednesday December 6 observed Black Day to mark the 14th anniversary of the razing of a 16th century Babri mosque by Hindu mob in the town of Ayodhya.

Marking the occasion, black flags were hoisted atop mosques and buildings while demonstrations were held in which the participants demanded the reconstruction of the Babri mosque and speedy trial in the case.
