Azadari in Bhavnagar of Indian Gujarat

GUJARAT, India: Majalis-i-aza began as soon as the
crescent of Muharram 1427 (2006) was sighted on Monday. Hundreds of
thousands of Indian Mo’mineen flocked to imambadas to participate in
azadari (mourning rites).
Speakers threw light on objective of Hussaini qayam and philosophy of
his great sacrifice.
Majalis were addressed by different speakers including maulana Haider
Mahdi Saheb and Iqrar Raza Saheb.
Later matam was performed, nohay were recited and neyaz was served.
Mourning processions were also taken out.
On the day of A'ashura One Julus was gone from Ambachowk to Vadva
Talavdi.
