HOLY CITY OF QOM, Iran: To mark the night of 11 Moharram, known as ‘Sham-i-Gharibaan’ in memory of Hazret-e-Zeinab Al-Kobra (a.s.), daughter of Hazret-e-Fatimeh (a.s.) and Hazret-e-Ali Al-Mortaza (a.s.), mourning processions and majalis were held in Holy Qom - the City of Karima-i-Ahl-i-Beit Hazret-e-Masumeh (a.s.).

After Maghreb and Eshaa prayers, the processions were taken out led by clerics. The participants while holding candles in their hands were beating their chests and chanting Nohay in grief.

The processions ended at the holy shrine of Hazret-e-Fatimeh Al-Masumeh (a.s.) where majalis were held and seena-zany was performed. The mourners extended their condolences to the Karima-i-Ahl-i-Beit (a.s.) on the sufferings of her grandfather Hazret-e-Imam Hossein (a.s.) and grandmother Hazret-e-Zeinab (a.s.).
