RAWALPINDI, February 18: Syed Shujaat Ali Bokhari, Convener of Central Muharram Committee Azadari Cell of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jaraiya, has said that the respect of the Rasool (SAW) and Khanwada-e-Rasool (A.S.) is compulsory.

He stated this while delivering presidential address at the emergent meeting of Central Muharram Committee Azadari Cell held at the Central Control Room. Representatives of Muharram Committee Azadari Cell from all over the country participated in the meeting and presented reports of their respective areas.

Shujaat Bokhari said every conscientious person of the world, irrespective of his belonging to any country, Maslak, region or family, strongly condemns blasphemy and the Maktab Jafar ibne Muhammad (A.S.) has the honour of confronting those who committed desecration of religion, Shariat, Prophets, Messengers and Righteous Persons for the last 1417 years and Azadari that is our universal and permanent protest against every blasphemous person would continue for ever. It had been our slogan since the beginning that we are supporters of every oppressed person and enemy of every oppressor. Whoever it may be, it is our foremost duty to express hatred against the oppressor, he added.

A resolution adopted on the occasion strongly condemned the publication of blasphemous caricatures in newspapers of Denmark, Norway, France, Jordan, America and other European countries. Terming this act enmity against Islam, it demanded immediate action against the culprits and sought an apology from the countries concerned.

The resolution said Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi was the first to condemn this incident followed by Government of Pakistan. The resolution made it clear that Hussainiyyat is the biggest forum against blasphemous elements, therefore, whosoever desires to record his protest should come to the Farsh-e-Aza, as causing damage to the national property in the name of protest and setting the belongings of your own people is injustice that is neither allowed by the religion nor by the humanity and is strongly condemnable.

Another resolution called upon Azadaran to give priority to Azadari over all other things and avoid all types of negative activities so as to thwart the conspiracies of enemies of religion and motherland and to increase the honour and dignity of the nation and the Millat.

It condemning the colonial conspiracies against Iran and Syria demanded from the Muslim Ummah to adopt a joint strategy against the same. It strongly denouncing the Tank and Hangu incidents demanded from the government to set up a Tribunal to probe into these incidents, take care and give treatment to the bereaved families and the injured.

Strongly condemning the firing from chemical weapons during Ashoora in Yemeni cities, another resolution termed it oppression and brutality.

The Muharram Committee Azadari Cell appealed all powers that love religion and Shariat to respect the dignity of Muharramul Haram.
