HOLY CITY OF QOM, Iran: Grand Ayatullah Sheikh Meerza Jawwad At-Tabrezi from te holy city of Qom said Tragedy of Karbala commemoration gets renewal every year, and every time increase pain and sorrow for all that suffered by the holy progeny of holy Prophet Al-Mostafa (peace be on him and his progeny) on the land of At-Tafouf.

In a message marking Ashura, the Ayatullah quoted a number of sayings of infallible imamas (peace be on them) about Imam Hosayn (peace be on him) i.e. Imam Ar-Reza (peace be on im) says: “No doubt the day of Hosayn (peace be on him) has wounded our hearts, and let our tears to roll down…” . Imam As-Sadeq (peace be on him) says: “Verily, for my grandfather Hosayn there is a heat in the hearts of believers, which will never cool down.”

Ayatullah At-Tabrezi further said our fight against oppressors and those who suspect Sha-a-ir Al-Hosaynia for last many years has increased us in sight, guidance and determination on principles of reviving Amro Ahli Bayt An-Nobuwwah (peace be on them).

Imam Al-Baqer (peace be on him) while talking to Al-Fazeel bin Yasar had said: “do you sit and talk?” he replied: “yes o my master.” Imam further said: “I love these majalis (sittings), so revive our Amr therein. He who sits in majlis, revives our amr therein, his heart will not die on the day when all hearts will die.”

Ayatullah At-Tabrezi said: “what is demanded from Mo’minin (believers) and particularly the sensible youth is that they must spend all their energies in reviving commemoration of Hosayn the Chief of Martyrs (peace be on him) in this period and the other; and this is by promoting mourning for Hosayn (peace be on him), its respect and revival with active participation, and contribution in mourning processions.”

He urged speakers of Hosayni pulpit to keep these pulpits, majalis and processions far from materialistic and political issues and make them source of upholding religion of Ahl-i-Bayt (peace be on him) and its strength.
