Afghanis bleed in memory of Karbala martyrs

KABUL, Afghanistan: Big mourning processions and
majalis-i-aza continued in Afghanistan to pay homage to great
sacrifices of Hazret-e-Imam Hosain (a.s.) and his 72 near and dear
ones rendered some 1,400 years ago to defend Islam and humanity.
On Muharram 7, a procession was taken out in the Afgan capital city of
Kabul participated by thousands of Hosaini mourners.
Performing zanjeerzani and noha-khoani, the mourners shed their blood
to signify grief on the martyrdom of Master of Youths of Paradise
Hazret-e-Imam Hosain (a.s.).
