RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Jashan Eid-e-Ghadeer functions began throughout the country on Thursday like other global parts, Zilhij 18 on the call of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi.

Mahafil, functions, conferences and seminars were held in the country including Federal Capital Islamabad, Azad Kashmir and Northern Areas in which ulema, waizeen, zakireen and intellectuals highlighted the importance of Wilayat-e-Ali in detail.

Addressing the Mehfil-e-Wilayat-e-Ali at Qasr-e-Abu Talib Mughalabad, Allama Mohsin Ali Hamdani said the Paighambar-e-Islam (Holy Prophet) by holding the hand of Hazrat Ali Al-Murtaza (A.S.) and raising it in a jam-packed crowd made it clear to the whole world of mankind that their rising and success lay in accepting the Wilayat-e-Ali.

He said holy Prophet (SAW) had announced in Ghadeer-e-Khum that Ali (A.S.) is the Master of all those I am the Master of whom. Hazrat Ali (A.S.) is the collection of merits of prophets and messengers, the true inheritor of Paighambar-e-Islam (SAW) and Imam-e-Mubeen of the whole universe. His life-style stands witness that he was in habit of restoring justice and fair-play and rooting out oppression and brutality.

Syed Naseer Hussain Sabzwari addressing the gathering on this occasion said the life-style of Hazrat Ali (A.S.) is death of hypocrisy and a new lease of life for the followers of justice and fair-play.

Addressing Wilayat-e-Ali Seminar at Danishgah Baqir-ul-Uloom Islamabad, Allama Syed Fakhar Abbas Zahidi said the life-style of Ali (A.S.) is the height of servitude and his pious character is a beacon of light for the world of humanity. Adopting the Murtazvi path is important need of the hour so as to confront the problems, oppression and brutality faced by the Islamic World today.

A resolution unanimously adopted on the occasion demanded from the government to implement the Junejo-Moosavi agreement so as to fulfil the rights of the Maktab-e-Tashayyo on the basis of equality in motherland Pakistan that came into being courtesy joint sacrifices of all schools of thought.

The Hafta-e-Wilayat opening functions were also held at Imambargah Zain-ul-Abideen, Masjid-e-Kazmia, Haideria Masjid, Qasr-e-Shabbir, Qasr-e-Kazmia, Markazi Imambargah Shah Nazar Deewan Badshah, Imambargah Jagir Ali Akbar, Ali Masjid Daultala, Qasr-e-Rubab, Qasr-e-Zainab, and Takya Saen Inayat Hussain.

According to reports reaching TNFJ headquarters, Eid-e-Ghadir functions were held in Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Larkana, Haiderabad, Mianwli, Sakkhar, Bhakkar, Quetta, Jehlum, Sargodha, Tank, D.G. Khan, D.I.Khan, Muzaffargarh, Gilgit, Skardu, Multan, Faislabad, Kherpur Meras, Mirpur Khas, Dadu, Nawabshah and many other cities and towns.
