RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Jashan Eid-e-Mobahila was observed as a part of Hafta-e-Wilayat throughout the country like other countries on Wednesday in line with the announcement of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi.

The day began with recitation from the Holy Quran in mosques in all small and big cities and towns of the country. Ulema, waizeen, and zakireen addressing the Mahafil, gatherings, conferences, seminars, highlighted the supremacy of Eid-e-Mobahila and success of Islam against the Christians of Najran.

In Rawalpindi, a special function was held at Ali Hall under the auspices of Hay’at Tulaba-e-Islamia. Allama Syed Muhammad Mujtaba Bokhari presided. Addressing the gathering, Allama Qamar Haider said, Mobahila is actually victory of Tauheed and a great and holiest day when Christians of Najran involved themselves in arguments with the Khatmi Martabat (SAW) saying that Prophet Eisa (A.S.) is son of Allah because he was born without a father. Then the Holy Prophet (SAW) said, no doubt, the example of Eisa (A.S.) before Allah is like Adam (A.S.) who was made of earth by Allah and then He said “Be” and he became. But Christians stuck to their point of view that Eisa (A.S.) is son of Allah and when they did not agree with the Holy Prophet (SAW), then he accepted their challenge on the commandment of Allah. The Ayah 61 of Surah Aal-e-Imran says: Tell them that we call our sons and you call yours, you call your women and we call ours, we call ourselves and you call yours and do Mobahila and then pray for Allah’s wrath on those who are liars.

He said famous scholar Shah Abdul Qadir writes Tafseer of this Ayah in “Al-Quran Al-Hakim Ma’a Tafseer Mauze Al-Quran” that the Holy Prophet (SAW) took Hazrat Fatima (S.A.) Hazrat Ali (A.S.), Hazrat Imam Hassan (A.S.) and Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.) in Mobahila. The Christians accepted their defeat and avoided Mobahila that made the flag of Tauheed (monotheism) flutter high and flag of Taghoot was downed.

He said the Punjtan-e-Pak (A.S.) are the centre of unity in the whole human world and the Islamic World. Every person of the caravan-e-Sadiqeen is laced with miracles. The Holy Prophet (SAW) kept minor Hasnain (A.S.) in front in Mobahila while Hazrat Ali Al-Murtaza (A.S.), who always remained in the frontline in every field, was kept behind so as to prove that victory of Islam in Mobahila was courtesy the truthfulness of Punjtan-e-Pak (A.S.). He said the Daman-e-Punjtan Pak (A.S.) would have to he held tightly so as to get the humanity rid of all problems and difficulties.

Syed Tabassum Kazmi in his address on the occasion said, the home of Hazrat Fatima Zahra (S.A.) is the source of supremacy in the whole universe, all Noorani (enlightened) members of this family are leaders of Islam and messiah for the humanity and attachment with them guarantees success here and the Hereafter. He lamented that Muslims at large have forgotten the greatest day of Mobahila for which they are undergoing punishment in the shape of host of problems and difficulties.

He said we would have to transform our character and deeds in accordance with the seerat of pious and strong Godly sources Muhammad (SAW) and Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.) instead of banking on Taghooti forces, if we desire to pull out the whole humanity in general, and the Islamic World in particular, from the difficult situation.

A resolution unanimously adopted on the occasion resolved the commitment of the gathering to follow any line of action given by Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Hamid Moosavi in connection with the Ayyam-e-Aza. The resolution demanded from the government to keep the banned groups away from peace committees and inter-religious committees so as to ensure law and order while noose around the banned organisations working with new names should be tightened. It strongly condemned the continued oppression all over the world including Iraq, Afghanistan, Kashmir and Palestine and American bombing in Bajaur Agency declaring it commensurate with an attack on Pakistan’s autonomy.

Syed Tehzeeb-ul-Hasnain Naqvi, Syed Arif Hussain Al-Hussaini, Ali Zeb Kazmi, Mushahid Hussain, and Hasan Raza Kiani also addressed the gathering.

Allama Zawwar Hussain Madni in Haideria Masjid, Maulana Kifayat Hussain Bokhari in Masjid Imam Ali Naqi, Allama Abul Hassan Taqi in Masjid-e-Kazmia, and Hojjatul Islam Syed Hussain Kazmi in Masjid Imam Moosa Kazim addressed the Eid-e-Mobahila gatherings.

Similar gatherings were also held in Lahore, Karachi, Haiderabad, Kherpur Meeras, Bhakkar, Mirpur Khas, Nawabshah, Larkana, Dadu, D.G.Khan, D.I.Khan, Multan, Faisalabad, Sheikhupura, Sakkhar, Muzaffargarh, Mianwali, Tank, Peshawar, Quetta, Kohat, Gilgit, Skardu and many other cities.
