Kuwait Shia clerics demand sorry, trial on prophet (p) cartoons

KUWAIT CITY: Head of the Shia Clerics Society in
Kuwait Sayyed Muhammad Baqer Al-Mohri has severely condemned
publishing of insulting caricatures to Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be
upon him and his pure progeny) in Danish and Norwegian newspapers.
In a statement, Al-Mohri said such acts are far from spirit of
freedom, democracy and all international norms.
He demanded from the respective governments to try these publications,
shut these, officially say sorry to all Muslims and ensure repetition
of such insults for all holy signs whether these are Islamic or
Christianity or any other.
Al-Mohri said he being legal representative of Marje Diniyah issue
verdict that purchasing goods relating to these countries is illegal.

Arla seeks Prophet (p) cartoons row end as protests continue

COPENHAGEN, Denmark: Europe’s second-largest dairy company Arla has placed advertisements in Middle Eastern newspapers to try to stop a boycott of Danish produce in Muslim countries as huge protest rallies were held in Iraq to denounce publications of cartoons of Holy Prophet Muhammad (p) in Danish and Norwegian publications.
