Al-Imam Al-Jawad (a.s.)’s martyrdom commemoration in Syria

DAMASCUS, Syria: In connection with the martyrdom
anniversary of ninth infallible imam from Ahl-ol Bait (a.s.), Al-Imam
Muhammad ben Ali Al-Jawad (a.s.), big commemorative ceremonies were
held in Syria.
The main mourning gathering, attended by thousands of mourners, was
held at the holy shrine of Sayyidah Zaynab Al-Kobra (a.s.), daughter
of Al-Imam Ali (a.s.), in Zaynabiah, Damascus.
Offices of Marajay and Ayaat as well as different organizations and
associations organized majales programs. Renowned husseini speakers
addressed and urged the need to observe such occasions. They said that
the despot rulers tried every tactic to stop the imam (a.s.) from the
path of truth but they failed.
