MANAMA, Bahrain: Four Bahraini parties hailed the heroic operation of Lebanon's Hezbollah against Israel.

"Hezbollah's heroic operation and the overwhelming joy in the Arab and Islamic world shows that Arabs and Muslims, be they Sunni or Shiite, as well as Christians and others, always stand by the Palestinians," they said in a statement.

The statement was issued by the Islamic National Accord Association, the Leftist National Democratic Action Association, the Nationalist Democratic Rally, and the Islamic Action Association.

The capture of the Zionist regime soldiers and the regime's criminal responses were a reminder to the world of "the suffering of our prisoners (in Zionist regime jails) and of the brutality of the occupation," the parties said.
