By: Nizam Hussain
NEW DELHI, India: A gathering of scholars,
social workers and intellectuals on the occasion of birth
anniversary of Hazrat Fatima Zahra (S), the daughter of Holy
Prophet (S), said Saturday Islam gives equal status to women
without any discrimination.
"There is no discrimination against women in Koran. It is not
correct to say that Islam is anti-women. It is some people who
give a wrong interpretation of the Koran to exploit the
women," vice President of All India Muslim Personal Law board
Maulana Kalb-e-Sadiq said here.
Chairperson of Guild of Service V. Mohini Giri said there was
a need for removing all women discriminatory laws from the
country.

"Knowledge is
better than wealth because it protects you while you have to
guard wealth. it decreases if you keep on spending it but the
more you make use of knowledge ,the more it increases . what you
get through wealth disappears as soon as wealth disappears but
what you achieve through knowledge will remain even after you."MORE
