RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has announced to observe "Youm-e-Wahdat" (Day of Unity) on Friday July 21 to protest Israeli aggression against Lebanon and express solidarity with the oppressed Lebanese, Afghani, Iraqi, Kashmiri and Palestinian people.

In a statement issued today, he said Israel has made the life of Palestinians hell since long in Middle East and now it is launching attacks on Lebanon which is totally aggression and naked terrorism. On the other, so-called defenders of human rights i.e. international organizations including UN and OIC are silent spectators while enriched 57 Muslim States have no voice and respect.

Agha Moosavi appealed to all countrymen to make clear to the whole world by observing "Youm-e-Wahdat" that Muslims are like one body whose pains and happiness are one, and they consider attack on any country and injustice to any oppressed as an assault on whole humanity. he said international terrorist and its stooges desire to fold Muslim States therefore, whole Muslim Ummah is duty bound to express practical unity and impede aggressive powers by restoring its self-confidence because colonial chief Bush has lost his senses and against Lebanon it is his third aggression.

World organizations particularly UN and OIC are under obligation to render help to the oppressed people of Lebanon, Palestine, Iraq, Afghanistan and Kashmir, get peace restored there and ensure immediate withdrawal of aggressive forces from these countries.

The TNFJ Chief made clear that Islam strongly condemns aggression, and every kind of oppression, barbarism and terrorism because it is messenger of peace and preaches fraternity, unity and solidarity. Holy Prophet (SAWW)'s 63-years holy life period stands witness that he never committed aggression rather 104 wars were imposed on him. His objective was invitation to truth, promotion of Islam, defense of oppressed and eradication of oppression.

Agha Moosavi said objective of human life is faith and struggle. Therefore movement of Islam against infidelity and oppression will continue from the day one till reappearance of Mehdi (A.S.). He said international colonial powers are afraid of Muslim Ummah unity and today Islamic world is facing problems and difficulties due to disunity. He said holi is being played with blood in Kashmir and Palestine for the past 50 years, interference in Afghanistan and then Iraq was made justified in pretext of 9/11 and now Lebanon is being turned into ruins. In such a situation, Muslim rulers, OIC - representative body of Islamic world - should devise joint and strong strategy.

Meanwhile, TNFJ central committee to organize "Youm-e-Wahdat" programs on country-level has been formed. Dr.S.Zaman Jawwadi has been nominated its convener while Zulfiqar Ali Raja as secretary of the committee.
