Rights Group: Israel used cluster grenades on Lebanese civilians
By: Mohamed Ali
NEW YORK, United States: Israel using
artillery-fired cluster grenades against civilians during its
assault against Hezbollah, A US-based human rights group said.
Human Rights Watch said it had photographed M483A1 artillery
shells stored on the Israeli side of the border by Israeli
artillery teams, which deliver 88 cluster sub-munitions per
shell and have a failure rate of 14 per cent, often leaving
behind dangerous unexploded shells.
"Cluster munitions are unacceptably inaccurate and unreliable
weapons when used around civilians," Kenneth Roth, Human
Rights Watch executive director, said in a statement.
"Israel must stop using cluster bombs in Lebanon at once,"
Roth said.

"Knowledge is
better than wealth because it protects you while you have to
guard wealth. it decreases if you keep on spending it but the
more you make use of knowledge ,the more it increases . what you
get through wealth disappears as soon as wealth disappears but
what you achieve through knowledge will remain even after you."MORE
