Pakistanis celebrate Imam Sajjad (A) b-day as 'Youm-e-Bandagi'

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Jashan-e-Wiladat of Hazrat Ali ibn Al-Hussain (A.S.) was observed as “Youm-e-Bandagi” throughout the country on Monday, on the call of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi.

Mahafil-e-Milad, conferences and seminars were organised by religious organisations and institutions in all small and big cities, towns and villages of Federal Capital Islamabad, Azad Kashmir, Northern Areas and all the four provinces of the country.

Ulema, waizeen and zakireen in their address on the occasion declared the uswah of Imam Zainul Abideen (A.S.) as a complete example of confronting oppression and brutality and promoting righteousness and justice.

A function marking the Youm-e-Bandagi was organised at Ali Hall under the auspices of Hay'at Tulaba-e-Islamia. Allama Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi in his address on the occasion said that objective of human life is Bandagi living without which gives shame and nothing else. Life means struggling day and night to achieve the pleasure of Allah and to fulfil that duty it is necessary to follow the character and deeds of Khanwada-e-Muhammad (SAW) and Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.).

Maulana Syed Kazim Abbas Kazmi addressing the programme said that the only representative organisation of Maktab-e-Tashayyo busy in the mission of ‘Wila’ and ‘Aza’ Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya enjoys the support of Hazrat Imam Zainul Abideen (A.S.) and Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Hamid Moosavi is struggling to achieve the pious goals keeping the lesson of his Sabr-o-Raza in front of him.

TNFJ Sindh Province Deputy Nazim-ul-Umoor Ammar Yassir Alvi in his address said that the whole humanity has to fulfil the duty of Bandagi so as to get rid of all problems in this world today. Imam Zainul Abideen (A.S.) was the symbol of worshippers and his collection of duas i.e. Saheefa-e-Kamilah would remain the best asset for the worshippers till eternity.

Maulana Tabassum Abbas Kazmi, TNFJ Balochistan leader Sardar Tariq Ahmed Jafri, Mushahid Hussain Kazmi, Jafar Khan, Shahzad Hussain Sanadi, and Arif Hussain Al-Hussaini also addressed the gathering while Syed Jone Ali Mashadi performed as stage secretary.

A resolution adopted on the occasion strongly condemned the continued colonial oppression and brutality all over the world and expressing complete solidarity with the oppressed people of Kashmir, Palestine, Afghanistan and Iraq, called upon the United Nations and other international organisations to play their role in driving out the allied forces from that areas and restore durable peace there.

The resolution supported the oppressed and have-nots and expressed complete solidarity with the movements of freedom and independence.

Allama Basharat Hussain Imami, Allama Fakhar Abbas Abidi, Zakir Karam Hussain Shah Hakimal, Zakir Ghulam Ali Bhatti, and Zakir Sajid Ali Sajid addressed the Youm-e-Bandagi Mehfil at Imambargah Musafira-e-Shaam Dehlalia.

In Islamabad and Rawalpindi, similar Mahafil were also held at Qasr-e-Abu Talib Mughalabad, Masjid and Imambargah Qasr-e-Khadijatul Kubra Tarlai Kalan, Imambargah Zain-ul-Aza, Markazi Imambargah Shah Piyara, Imambargah Qasr-e-Imam Moosa Kazim, Imambargah Jagir Ali Akbar, Masjid and Imambargah Ahle Bait, and Imambargah Qasr-e-Shabbir.

According to reports reaching Youm-e-Bandagi Committee office, mahafil to mark the occasion were also held at Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta, Multan, Faisalabad, D.I.Khan, D.G.Khan, Lala Moosa, Mianwali, Kherpur Meeras, Sakkhar, Dadu, Hayderabad, Larkana, Shadiwal, Khanewal, Skardu, Gilgit and many other cities.
