Attack on Ayatollah Mortada al-Qazwini condemned

WASHINGTON: UMAA strongly condemned the
vicious attack on Ayatollah Sayed Mortada al-Qazwini in
Karbala, Iraq.
In a statement emailed to Jafariyanews, President, UMAA Dr.
Pervez Shah said he believes the perpetrators are from the
same source who have created reign of terror and violence
which has torn the various ethnic communities of Iraq.
“I urge the Prime Minister Mr Nouri Al Maliki to take a very
serious note of such attacks on our Ulema and should assure
their safety and protection.”
He prayed for Maulana’s quick recovery and good health. May
Allah shower his blessings on him and keep guarding our
community.
