“Mo’min-e-Quresh” author tells Ayat Tabrezi Saudi Shiias problems

HOLY CITY OF QOM, Iran: Renowned Saudi author Sheikh Abdullah Al-Khonezi in his meeting with Ayatullah Sheikh Mirza Jawwad At-Tabrezi in the holy city of Qom, apprised him problems of Shiias in Al-Qatif.

Al-Khonezi was judge of endowment and inheritance court in Al-Qatif.

Sheikh Al-Khonezi was awarded death sentence by the Saudi government as a penalty for writing a historic book titled “Abu Talib: Mo’min-e-Quresh” which focuses on the belief of Abu Talib (peace be on him), father of Al-Imam Ali (peace be on him), patron and uncle of holy Prophet (peace be on him and his pure progeny), and protector and refuge of Prophethood.

Hundreds of thousands of copies of the book “Abu Talib: Mo’min-i-Quresha” have been sold out in Middle East as no best book other than this on Abu Talib (peace be on him) has ever published.

According to reports the death sentence for Sheikh Al-Khonezi, born in Al-Qatif Saudi Arabia and a pupil of top religious authority of Shia world Grand Ayatullah Sayyed Abol Qassem Al-Khoi (late), was averted by the Saudi government after it received one hundred thousand protest mails from Middle East alone.

A number of his articles and columns were published in world newspapers from Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Iraq, Lebanon and Egypt. He is also the author of several other books.
