MANAMA, Bahrain: The birth anniversary of As-Siddiqah Zaynab Al-Kobra (a.s.), daughter of Al-Imam Ali bin Abi Taleb (a.s.) and granddaughter of holy Prophet Muhammad (s.v.), was celebrated reverently and respectfully in all parts of the world on Jamady'ol Aval 5.

Marking the august and auspicious occasion, big festive gatherings, galas and festivals were held at mosques, holy shrines, husseiniyaat, imambaras and Islamic centers in Iraq, Syria, UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, Lebanon, United States, Britain, Norway, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Pakistan and many other countries organized by different organizations.

Speakers and eulogists through their addresses and eulogies paid rich homage to the dignified lady of Islam Sayyedah Zaynab Al-Kobra (a.s.), sister of Al-Imam Al-Hasan (a.s.) and Al-Imam Al-Hussein (a.s.).
