Majalis, processions mark start of Ashra-e-Aseeran-e-Karbala

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Ashra-e-Aseeran-e-Karbala (11 to 20 Safar-ul-Muzaffar) began on the call of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi.

Majalis-e-Aza were held and Matmi processions were taken out in all the four provinces of the country including Azad Kashmir and Northern Areas on this occasion. Ulema, zakireen and waizeen in their address paid homage to the great sacrifices rendered by Aseeran-e-Karbala Mukhaderat-e-Ismat and Taharat.

The participants of Azadari programmes reiterated their resolve to continue the mission of Zainab (S.A.) and Zainul Abideen (A.S.) come what may and the idols of Yazidiyyat, tyranny and terrorism would be torn apart by promoting Matam and Azadari in every nook and corner of the world.

In Rawalpindi and Islamabad, Majalis and Matamdari programmes were organised at Imambargahs and Aza Khanas by various organisations and institutions on the first day of the Ashra-e-Aseeran-e-Karbala.

Zakirah Perveen Zaidi addressing the Majlis Aseeran-e-Karbala organised by Anjuman Dukhtran-e-Islam (Regd) at Jamia-tul-Murtaza said the heart-rending addresses of Mukhaderat-e-Ismat and Taharat in the streets of Kufa and Shaam and in the courts of Yazid and Ibne Ziad are an important part of the Hussainiyyat’s history. She said Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.) scaled Karbala while Zainab (S.A.) and Zainul Abideen (A.S.) shattered Kufa. She said had Sharikat-ul-Hussain Zainab binte Ali (A.S.) not there along with Hussain (A.S.) then the victory of Karbala could not have been completed.

A resolution adopted on the occasion called upon the United Nations to look ahead of biases and lay down an action plan for the protection of all religions and Masalik without any discrimination, particularly the holy places in Iraq. The resolution demanded to tighten noose around real terrorists behind the Samarra tragedy making them a symbol for others.

Syed Aqeel Kazmi addressing the Majlis organised by Hay’at Tulaba-e-Islamia paid homage to the exemplary sacrifice rendered by minor Aseeran-e-Karbala Hazrat Sakina binte Hussain (S.A.) giving a new lease of life to Hussainiyyat. He said the great deeds of Aseeran-e-Karbala for supremacy of religion and Shariat are the golden chapter of history of mankind.

A resolution adopted on the occasion demanded from the government to make foolproof security arrangements and improve the law and order situation during the Ashra-e-Aseeran-e-Karbala. Matamdari followed the Majlis.

Majalis-e-Aza and Matamdari programmes were also organised at dozens of other places including Imambargah Qasr-e-Kazmia, Aza Khana Punjtan Pak, Imambargah Qasr-e-Shabbir, Imambargah Qadeem, Bait-ul-Huzn, Imambargah Zainul Abideen, Masjid and Imambargah Shah Chan Chiragh.
